Latest results published by the company show that Orange Home TV’s cable and DTH service had 448,000 subscribers at the end of the second quarter, or 12.6% more than in the same period last year.
The growth in fixed broadband take-up was even more pronounced, up by 67% to 234,000.
Interest in Orange TV Go also grew, with the average number of users 22% higher than a year earlier thanks to an improved offer of movies, shows and series.
Orange Romania’s turnover in Q2 amounted to €275 million, or 3.4% more than in the corresponding period in 2017.
Growth was driven mainly by mobile subscribers additions, fixed-mobile services and equipment sales.
All told, the company offered mobile, fixed and TV services to 10,537,000 customers as of June 30.
