In a summary of the company’s performance in the first nine months of this year, T-Mobile Czech also says that it ended September with almost 70,000 subscribers to its IPTV and DTH service T-Mobile TV. This was over 20,000 more than at the end of Q1 this year.
The company adds that one of the most popular features of its TV service is replay and seven-day catch-up for all channels. These effectively give customers access to over 3 million shows a month.
Significantly, T-Mobile launched Magenta 1 in the Czech Republic in February this year. It has proved to be a success, and according to Juraj Bóna, director of B2C marketing and product management at T-Mobile, led to a significant increase in fixed-line sales.
Although the largest number of customers opt for two services, 19% choose to have five or more.
