Red Bee Media has created a completely new broadcast and news centrer for Altice France in Paris.

The facilities include a playout control room ready to broadcast 25 linear channels in HD and UHD, a master control room (MCR) for news production, seven studios and galleries, 20 edit suites, 20 commentary booths and availability for two outside broadcast vans.

Altice France wanted to renew their facilities and create an entirely new, state-of the-art broadcast and
news centre. Red Bee Media was selected to provide Systems Integration Services and design, build and configure the whole facility.

“We have created top-of-the-line facilities from where we can broadcast high-quality news, sports and entertainment to millions of viewers. During this project, Red Bee Media has proved to be a skilled, efficient and reliable service provider that delivered with exceptional quality on a tight deadline,” said Damien Bernet, Executive Director Altice Media.

The project was initiated in April 2017 and took 17 months to complete. The facilities were initially inaugurated with the launch of seven channels in late August, with broadcasts covering sports events such as the Premier League, the Champions League and Europa League.

“This has been a large and highly complex project that we are very proud to have been a part of. Our team has been spending extended hours of work to deliver on the requirements provided from Altice France and the result is a truly state-of-the-art broadcast and news centre,” said Jerome Monteil, Head of Market Area Southern Europe, Red Bee Media.

The project has involved 30 fulltime staff from Red Bee Media and the coordination of over 300 external service providers.

The Altice France broadcast and news centre is located in the 15th Arrondissement in Paris and will be providing content in sports, entertainment and news to millions of viewers all over France, through TV and radio channels such as BFM TV, BFM Business and the various RMC Sport channels.
