According to Rozhlas.cz, it currently operates as The Festival, a channel that shares a frequency with Ceskoslovensko and is on air every day from 22.00 onwards.
The date November 17 is significant in that it marks the Day of the Fight for Freedom and Democracy in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and also the seventh anniversary of the launch of Film Europe, founded by the Slovak entrepreneur Ivan Hronec.
Film Europe recently reached an agreement with UPC Czech for the distribution of Ceskoslovensko.
Be2Can will undergo a complete visual transformation. Its videos will also be made available in the libraries of Skylink, T-Mobile, O2, Alza Media and iTunes.
Broadband TV News notes the Film Europe launched its own film festival, named Be2Can in 2014.
Earlier this month it introduced a new strategy, dubbed Be2Can Nonstop. Although Be2Can’s concept has not changed, its reach is being extended.
